What to expect
I mainly work with Myofascial Release techniques (you can learn about the role of fascia here) and Orthobionomy. I also use soothing and enlivening techniques generally known as Swedish massage.
There’s no need for force when working with the body’s natural abilities to realign itself given the opportunity.
Clients report leaving deeply relaxed and much freer in their bodies with often a significant increase in their range of motion.
The slow pace of the massage has a soothing and balancing effect on the nervous and vagal system, resulting in a deep sense of calm and increased aliveness.
A nervous system that is balanced and responsive helps you think more clearly and creatively when faced with problems, and react less emotionally when triggered. It also improves the functioning of your immune system.
